The sole suspected gunman in the ambush killing of two firefighters and the wounding of a third in Idaho was found dead, authorities say.

The brush fire that the firefighters were responding to appeared to have been intentionally set, the Kootenai County sheriff said. The blaze has grown to about 20 acres.
