He is Ceddanne Rafaela, Red Sox center fielder. And he is Pete Crow-Armstrong, Cubs All-Star center fielder and one of baseball’s breakout stars of 2025.
The teams’ series at Wrigley Field this weekend features their similar skill sets, which has engendered mutual admiration. And for Rafaela, the visit will offer a first-hand look at a blueprint of sorts for the type of player he believes he can become.
