I love a National Trust day out and they’re a great place to get festive too! As well being steeped in history, many of the venues have beautiful walks, cafes serving delicious food and fabulous gift shops where you can tick a few more things off your Christmas shopping list.

A lot of National Trust venues put on festive events, like carol singing, craft workshops and evening light trails. You can meet Father Christmas in his grotto, visit a winter fair and admire these historic houses decked for Christmas.
