Dear Friend,
September is Climate Week in New York City and Serica is joining up with our friends at ALL ARTS and the Human Impacts Institute to present the Living Room at Pier 57, where attendees and passersby can watch episodes from our co-produced series Climate Artists and share their stories in a video time capsule. There will also be a special performance from Ranjani Prabhakar of Lil Idli, all part of the Creative Climate Forum on September 25. And the best part? Registration is free and open to all!
In this month's newsletter, we're highlighting even more September Serica programs, including a NYC gallery art walk, partner event with China Institute and Michael Luo, and our next Serica Storytellers event with debut novelist Yiming Ma! Read about our recent appearance at the 1990 Institute's Youth Symposium in the Bay and a chance to win afternoon tea with BD Wong—and, as always, treat yourself to some wonderful events and updates from our community partners.
From all of us here, thank you for all you do for our community!
Cheers,
Daniel Tam-Claiborne
Deputy Director, The Serica Initiative
