From the Principal’s Pen
Dear Laurel Hill Families,
We are looking forward to seeing everyone at Back to School Night tonight! The doors will open at 6 pm for parents and guardians to go directly to their child's classroom. The first session will be 6:10-6:40. After a 10 minute transition, teachers will present a second, identical session from 6:50-7:20. This is a great time to hear from your child's teacher about what they are learning this school year and how you can support them at home. Please buy some spirit wear and join the PTA tonight, too! They do so many wonderful things for all the students at Laurel Hill.
Please join FCPS in recognizing National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15. This is a time to honor and celebrate the rich histories, cultures, and contributions of those in our community who trace their heritage to Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. Learn more about National Hispanic Heritage Month in FCPS.
Sincerely,
Janice Dalton, Principal
Thmeaka Traylor, Assistant Principal
