| President Mark A. Welsh III, a retired four-star general who later served as a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is stepping down. The resignation comes a little over a week after a viral video of a student accusing an instructor of illegally teaching “gender ideology” led to the instructor’s firing, the removal of a dean and department head, as well as calls for investigations — including by the Justice Department. |
