Google’s India bet: The Alphabet Inc. company plans to put about $15 billion toward building a data center for AI in southern India, its biggest investment in the country.

Apple’s Vietnam bet: Apple is preparing to expand its manufacturing in Vietnam, spanning new indoor security cameras, a home command hub and a tabletop robot, the last slated for sometime in 2027.

Samsung’s bonus bet: The electronics maker will award shares and bonuses based on the stock price to rank-and-file employees for the first time in a major overhaul of its compensation practices.

German AI image generator Black Forest Labs in in talks to raise $200 million to $300 million, which would value the company at $3.25 billion including the money raised. The startup has helped Elon Musk’s Grok chatbot create images and has also signed a deal of more than $100 million to let Meta used the technology.
