We recently spoke to someone who had received a very detailed email about changes to their Club Lloyds account. The hitch? They don’t bank with Lloyds.
Our scams expert Faye Lipson took a closer look at the email and found a highly convincing banking scam that could easily catch out unsuspecting Lloyds customers.

| Avoid this Lidl purchase scam |
We've spotted 49 fraudulent adverts that impersonate Lidl and promote items including coffee machines and electric bikes at attractive prices.
These types of scams are known as purchase scams, which is when you buy an item online and are either sent nothing in return or an item that doesn’t fit the description. This particular example uses ads on social media that lead to a scam website.
