A.P.C. QUILTS ROUND 29
FLORAL STUDY
For Round 29, designer Jessica Ogden studied blooms closely, dissecting them to understand their rhythm and translating that observation into textiles. Each quilt begins as a hand drawing in Jessica’s studio in Jamaica. The fabrics are then chosen from A.P.C.’s leftover production stock and assembled like watercolors, combining shades and textures to create new compositions. The pieces are brought to life by A.P.C.’s workshop in India, whose craftsmanship allows for intricate and inventive patch-work work. This round was photographed by Alfredo Piola on Margarita Island, Venezuela.
