Survey: Consumers prioritize streaming as inflation rises

About one-third of US consumers are cutting other household expenses to maintain streaming subscriptions as inflation rises and they grapple with economic uncertainty, according to a Bango report. The survey cites the growing popularity of bundled subscriptions, with 68% of consumers using them to save money, while many also rotate between services or downgrade tiers to manage costs.

Social platform Wabi raises $20M
Replika founder Eugenia Kuyda has raised $20 million in pre-seed funding for her new startup Wabi, a social platform that allows users to create and share mini-apps using simple prompts. Launched in beta, Wabi offers integrated tools for app creation, discovery, and hosting, with social features such as liking, commenting and remixing. The platform eliminates the need for traditional app stores and focuses on ease of use and community-driven creativity.
