This is a reminder to check the Florida HAB Forecast System, linked above, for up-to-date conditions.
Karenia brevis continues to be observed at very low to low concentrations along the Florida Panhandle in the bays around Panama City, in St Joe Bay, and in far western St Vincent Sound.
This bulletin provides forecast updates and reminders of the Karenia brevis harmful algal blooms (HABs) in southwestern Florida. Please find up-to-date analysis, satellite imagery, and forecasts at the Florida HAB Forecast System.
Subscribers will receive notices of changes or improvements to the forecasting system. Subscribers will also be periodically reminded to check the HAB Forecast System, especially when there are major changes in bloom status.
