Women’s Living Arrangements at First Birth

On Nov. 19, the U.S. Census Bureau will release a new report, Women’s Living Arrangements at First Birth. The report shows a larger share of women had their first child while living with an unmarried partner in the early 2020s than in the early 1990s.

The report describes women’s living arrangements (i.e., married, cohabiting, neither married nor cohabiting) at the time of their first birth and how they differed by educational attainment, race and ethnicity from the early 1990s to the early 2020s.

National Native American Heritage Month: November 2025

On Nov. 20, the U.S. Census Bureau will release Profile America Facts for Features on Native American Heritage Month. This Facts for Features presents statistics about the American Indian and Alaska Native population, one of the six major race categories defined by the U.S. Office of Management and Budget.

Business Trends and Outlook Survey

On Nov. 20, the U.S. Census Bureau will release The Business Trends and Outlook Survey (BTOS). BTOS measures business conditions on an ongoing basis. BTOS experimental data products are representative of all employer businesses other than farms in the U.S. economy. The data allow greater insight into the state of the economy by providing continuous, timely information for key economic measures. Data are released biweekly and are available by sector, state, employment size and the 25 most populous metropolitan statistical areas.
