Economic Indicator Release Updates

The U.S. Census Bureau today announced additional revisions to its release calendar for the 2025 economic indicators that were delayed due to the recent lapse in federal funding.

The revised dates are:

Monthly Wholesale Trade: Sales and Inventories
August [originally scheduled for 10/9/25] 11/21/25

Advance Monthly Sales for Retail and Food Services
September [originally scheduled for 10/16/25] 11/25/25

Manufacturing and Trade: Inventories and Sales
August [originally scheduled for 10/16/25] 11/25/25

Advance Report on Durable Goods Manufacturers' Shipments, Inventories, and Orders
September [originally scheduled for 10/27/25] 11/26/25

The U.S. Census Bureau will continue updating its economic indicator release calendar in coordination with other agencies and the Office of Management and Budget to address the impacts of the recent lapse in federal funding. We will provide the updated release dates as soon as they become available.
