There are lots of little hold ups (myths) keeping people from doing the Amazon influencer program (we call it AIP because that's a mouthful).

Most of them are easily debunked.

Let's get into them.

#1 I'm not an influencer

Most of the "influencers" in the program aren't either. They have audiences that are just big enough to get approved and they make almost all of their money from onsite placements.

They...

• Don't send traffic themselves. Although that's an option as well, you can make a killing with the program without ever sharing a link outside of Amazon.
• Don't have insane aura or great on-screen skills. Real and authentic is good enough. Average people are earning above average profits.
• Still get brands to send them samples daily. Brands work with all sorts of people, that's the beauty of UGC. A big audience helps draw big paid brand deals, but a small audience works too.

And you can get into the program starting with zero followers with about two weeks of work posting to TikTok.

#2 I don't want to be on camera

The answer people want to hear is "you don't have to," and that is true BUT I encourage people to go a different route.

Ask yourself, "who cares?" These videos can be only on Amazon if you want and if you're afraid of your friends and family seeing them, the odds are slim that they do.

If they make fun of you, they're bad friends :)

Also, there is no commenting on videos. If you're afraid of mean comments, they don't exist on Amazon.

#3 The earnings are too low

The earnings are low for most items, but the earnings at scale can easily approach 5 figures per month and 6 figures per year.

Also, the "low commission rates" are understated also. Thanks to Amazon's creator connections program, we can earn way more on top of every product. I have an item that pays. me $70 per sale, for instance.

#4 I don't know how to edit and shoot videos

Yes you do. At least in the Amazon influencer sense of "editing and shooting."

Most of my videos are one shot takes. No edits.

This can all be done from your smartphone and any small skills you might need can be learned in a couple of minutes.
