If someone discovers your brand through an AI tool, would the description they see be accurate?

In a lot of cases, it’s not.

AI systems tend to blend whatever they can find, mixing outdated details, old reviews, missing services, or contradictory listings into a single “summary” that can be the first impression people see.

As you can imagine, this can be damaging in many ways.

That’s why it’s worth doing a simple foundation-level test:

An audit of what AI thinks your brand is.

Ask the major LLMs:
“Who is [Your Brand Name]?”
“What does [Your Brand Name] do?”
“Who is [Your Brand Name] a good fit for?”

You’ll learn instantly whether it has a clear understanding of your business or whether it’s making things up.

Document everything… it will serve as a comparison for later.

From there, the next step is straightforward:
Strengthen and align your brand signals everywhere AI looks.

Your website, schema, business listings, reviews, and social profiles. Consistency is what helps AI correct itself.
