Hey, Tim here.
Let's start with a sponsor, then we'll do your 4 tips.
The Strike Marketing Summit is a free two day virtual event on 12/11 and 12/12.
The summit will teach you how to build a category. It will teach you how to create momentum. It will teach you how to use AI and storytelling to attract real attention.
You will learn from twelve amazing speakers. These speakers are operators, marketers, and builders. They will teach you how to get real results online.
You will walk away with a simple Strike Marketing playbook. You will know exactly how to launch your authority and attract more leads.
If you want to show up in the market with confidence and clarity, this event is for you.
Now, your weekly strategies and mindset shifts...
1. Action > Perfection
As I'm restructuring the offers within Copyblogger, I've been reminded of this fact.
There's always something that "could be better."
Yet if I waited for every aspect to be perfect, we'd move too slowly.
And speed is a huge advantage.
More time gives you more feedback and reps.
And feedback and reps bring you closer to perfection.
Instead of focusing on short term imperfections, focus on how quickly you're moving towards the end goal.
2. Pricing is an Underrated Lever
Many people burn out because they have too many clients, but still aren't making enough money.
Charging more is an easy way to solve this problem.
There are likely dozens of other people in your niche charging 5xs or 10xs as much as you.
If you target a premium market and deliver a premium client experience, you can multiply your income without changing your service offering.
3. The Compounding Benefits of Consistency
As I'm writing the sales copy for the new Copyblogger offers, I realized:
It took me about 15 years to get my first agency to $1,000,000/year.
During that time, I learned SEO, personal branding, content marketing, and outbound marketing.
After selling that business, my next agency hit $1,000,000 in the first 1 year. Learning how to build a business takes time, but once you have the skills to master the game, the results multiply.
If you're in the early stage of your journey, don't give up. And if progress is slower than you want, move fast and do more volume.
4. Lesson From The Build
Stop writing todo lists. Start scheduling time in your calendar.
Something I'm incorporating in the revamped Copyblogger offer are co-working sessions. I realized one of the biggest challenges is that most people simply don't complete the courses.
So how do you ensure people take action? Ensure they set aside time. If you've set aside time to do something, you're much more likely to do it than if you just write it on a todo list.
