One of my biggest running pet peeves is when my AirPods feel like they’re falling out of my ears. They fit well on a day-to-day basis, but add a little (or a lot) of sweat and movement into the mix and suddenly they’re shifting around, causing me to constantly adjust them. Poor fit isn’t just annoying – it also degrades sound quality and reduces how well the headphones cancel out noise around me.
I thought I had to accept this issue, especially since I wasn’t willing to trade my AirPods for a different pair of headphones. But then, I discovered a handful of accessories you can add to your earbuds to make them extra grippy, helping them stay in place even while you’re exercising. My favorite option is Setex’s anti-slip stickers, which are currently sold out, but you can also buy silicone covers and hooks that essentially do the same thing. Now, I can wear my AirPods without worrying about them sliding out, making the listening experience much more enjoyable and preventing me from getting distracted by them during my workout.
