Hundreds have taken to Chicago’s streets in recent days to protest the Trump administration and its aggressive immigration enforcement in Chicago and Minneapolis.
They chanted “no hate no fear immigrants are welcome here” as wind chills dipped below zero throughout the afternoon.
On Tuesday, on the one-year anniversary
of President Donald Trump’s inauguration, about 150 protesters gathered downtown in freezing temperatures to continue to “support democracy and resist moves toward authoritarianism.”
