I cured my phone addiction in less than 24 hours without having to change anything about myself.
For years, I've been experimenting with different ways to curb my phone addiction - specifically, checking Instagram endlessly and doom scrolling.
I've tried deleting the app from my phone, installing apps that make it harder to access IG, hiding my phone, and various mindsets. (I haven't tried the Brick only because I ultimately want to stay off IG because it's MY choice - not because I'm physically locked out.)
Nothing's worked.
But I knew there just had to be a way to figure this out for not only myself but for my kids, as well. So when they do have a phone I'll be able to set them up for success and teach them HOW to not get sooo sucked in.
And guys? I FINALLY cracked the code.
I'm going to ask you to suspend judgement here and just go with me on this as I explain. It sounds kinda weird and silly buy if you lean into it, this may just change your life.
Believe me when I tell you that I haven't doom scrolled even ONCE since I started doing this (haven't even wanted to!).
And now I check IG just once every few HOURS - at most..
And it feels fun and easy not to!
