Tax Status Notice – W-8BEN Expiration and 2026 Renewal Required

Dear Client,

This notice is issued to inform you that the W-8BEN form currently associated with your account has expired and is no longer valid for tax documentation purposes. The W-8BEN is required to certify your status as a non-U.S. individual and to ensure that the correct withholding and reporting rules are applied under applicable tax regulations. Once the form reaches the end of its validity period, it must be renewed to remain effective.

Our records show that your previously submitted W-8BEN has exceeded its authorized validity timeframe. Because the form is no longer current, it can no longer support reduced withholding rates or eligibility for tax treaty benefits. In accordance with regulatory requirements, standard withholding treatment may now apply to your account until updated documentation is received and approved.

To maintain compliant tax records, you are required to submit a renewed W-8BEN that will remain valid through December 31, 2026, provided your information remains accurate and complete. The renewal process can be completed through our secure online system:

Renew Certification Now

After signing in, please navigate to the tax documentation section. You will be guided through reviewing your personal information, confirming your country of tax residence, and submitting a new electronic certification. Once approved, your renewed W-8BEN will remain on file through the 2026 validity period unless regulatory changes require earlier updates.

Completing your renewal promptly will help ensure accurate tax processing and continued compliance through 2026.
