"I would rather be uncomfortable than stay in a place I’ve outgrown."
I said this on my mastermind call earlier and I meant every word of it.
No one talks about how scary it is to raise your standards in business.
To decide to go after a higher level client.
To decide to sell group when you’re used to 1:1.
To decide to forgo easy cash in the short term for something bigger in the long run.
It’s normal to feel scared of the unknown.
To want to know all the steps in advance.
But that’s just our way of trying to lessen the fear we feel.
Don’t try to get rid of the fear.
Know that it’s there for a purpose.
To challenge you. To help you become a more resilient version of yourself.
Anything worth doing is scary.
Because the alternative is staying exactly where you are now.
In places you’ve outgrown.
Serving clients you’re no longer meant to serve.
Selling offers you don’t love.
As an ambitious, driven woman that’s worst case for you.
Which means feeling the fear and raising your standards anyway is best case.
Because what it leads to is something more beautiful than you could have ever imagined.
