The Bringing the Deep to Light: Coral Curiosities of the Deep Book and Activity Kit Program is meant for 4th-5th grade. The program is FREE and includes a Gulf Kit with 15 printed copies of our NEW Coral Curiosities of the Deep book and a class activity kit with 4 lessons aligned with NGSS. Our book shares the story of the Deepwater Horizon (DWH) oil spilland the restoration efforts being made by scientists to help restore our deep-sea coral communities. The students and teachers receiving the book and activities will be asked to participate in a short pre- and post-survey evaluation.
