We interviewed 2,000 hackers to understand what happens when they find vulnerabilities in the wild. Two of the findings shocked us:

  • 65% have chosen not to disclose vulnerabilities due to lack of clear reporting pathways 
  • 85% believe reporting critical vulnerabilities is more important than making money


This highlights critical gaps in organizational security processes. Hackers want to make the internet safer, they just need clear pathways to report their findings.
