Ocean Discovery Center Welcomes Field Trips and Group Tours!
The Gray's Reef Ocean Discovery Center has began offering field trips and group tours for 2026. The Center welcomed its first school group of the year in mid-January and it was a blast! After a guided interpretive walk with one of our Education and Outreach Specialist, the students put their marine science knowledge to the test and competed in a species identification scavenger hunt. Students identified over 20 native-Georgia species during this reef exploration and got to experience what being a sanctuary scientist is like. After their scavenger hunt, the students got to take a deeper dive with our virtual reality experience. It was amazing to get school groups back into the Center after a long renovation!
Interested in booking your own tour? You can find information about the types of tours we offer and how to begin the reservation process here.
