Introducing Our Assistant Secretary: Jeremiah Workman

The U.S. Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment and Training Service proudly announces Jeremiah Workman as our new Assistant Secretary.

A decorated Marine Corps combat veteran, Mr. Workman brings firsthand experience, decisive leadership, and an unwavering commitment to America’s service members, veterans, and military spouses. Mr. Workman has set a clear and bold vision for the future:

Prepare service members, veterans, and military spouses for “High-Paying, Skilled Trade Jobs of the Future."

Expand and strengthen the Employment Navigator and Partnership Program (ENPP) to ensure seamless transitions from service to civilian careers.

Under Mr. Workman’s leadership, we will strengthen partnerships, expand access to high-impact employment and training resources, and elevate programs that help service members and veterans not just enter the workforce, but lead it.
