| | | | Gore Verbinski’s Apocalyptic Warning Against AI | If you couldn’t tell, Gore Verbinski is very concerned about AI. His new film, Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die, which follows a time traveler from the future who is sent back in time to destroy an all-powerful artificial intelligence before it becomes sentient, clearly doesn’t have a very flattering opinion of AI. But Verbinski’s feelings about the rapidly evolving technology might be even harsher. “Why is it going after the things that are essentially what we need to do as humans: to tell stories, to write a song, to write a poem?” Verbinski tells Inverse. “Don’t do that; go cure cancer, do something else. You don’t need to breathe for me. Why is it coming after the things that we like to do?” But those concerns weren’t quite at the top of everyone’s minds when Verbinski first read the script by Matthew Robinson in 2020. The Pirates of the Caribbean director hadn’t made a feature film since 2016’s A Cure for Wellness, but something about Robinson’s script brought him out of his unofficial break from filmmaking. | | READ MORE | |

| | | Twin Fin Hotel | | Presented by Inside Hotels |
| | Beach Destinations Built For Curious Travelers | For travelers who want more than a postcard beach, Twin Fin Hotel offers a way to tune in rather than tune out. Set directly on Waikiki Beach, the hotel takes a design-forward, surf-rooted approach that reflects Oʻahu’s local rhythm. Winter is an especially smart time to visit, when North Shore swells draw global surf energy to the island and the atmosphere feels charged, not congested. Twin Fin skips traditional resort polish in favor of a relaxed coastal sensibility, with surf-inspired interiors, curated local artwork, and immediate beach access. Through its Collective ambassador program, guests can tap into surf schools, cultural events, and local creatives, making it easy to experience Waikiki beyond the sand. It’s a base for travelers who move through a place with curiosity, intention, and momentum. | | Book Now | |
