I’m an unapologetic horse girl.
I had my first riding lesson at age 11 after relentlessly begging my mom for a chance to visit a barn. From the first time I set foot in a stirrup, I was hooked. I love the sound of horses and the smell of hay, and find cleaning stalls or brushing a mane to be as meditative as a visit to a trusted therapist. There’s also the deep appreciation I hold for the unspoken partnership between myself and my horse. And if the Zodiac has any say in the matter, the stars are finally saddling up right alongside me.
