Commerce City police are investigating a suspected homicide after a woman was found dead on a sidewalk early Thursday morning, according to the department.

One person was killed in a fire at a north Littleton apartment complex late Tuesday night, South Metro Fire Rescue officials said.

Andrew Sanders is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, assault and obstructing a peace officer, all misdemeanors.

Englewood-based Zynex Inc., as part of the deal, agreed to pay between $5 million and $12.5 million in penalties and will forfeit millions of dollars in unpaid claims.

Another 28 people were injured in the 36-vehicle crash, which involved seven semitrailers and 29 passenger vehicles, according to the agency.
