AARP Grants
AARP is hosting its 10th Annual Community Challenge grant program, with awards ranging from a few hundred up to $15,000. These are quick-action projects that help communities become more livable by improving public places, transportation, housing, digital connections, and more.
Due Date: March 4, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. ET.
Project Completion Deadline: December 15, 2026
Eligibility: 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), and 501(c)(6) nonprofit organizations; government entities; and other organizations considered on a case-by case basis.

Lowe's Community Impact Grants
FY 2026 Lowe's: Community Impact Grants
ELIGIBILITY: This Program is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, who are at least twenty-one (21) years of age or older at the time of nomination. Each eligible entrant is a “Nominator”. Nominators may enter as many projects as they like, but should not nominate a project more than once. The program terms provide more information on nominator requirements and restrictions. Lowe’s will only select projects within 30 miles of a Lowe’s store.
FUNDING: Grant amounts are determined based on numerous factors, including the amount requested by the nominator, information provided by the local organization aligned to the project, and current status of the project. While the funding agency does not disclose funding amounts in FY25, Lowes disbursed $10 million to 100 organizations (a median award size of $100,000). Grant funds can be used for labor costs, permits, professional services and materials to complete the project.
DUE DATE: Applications are due March 20, 2026. Applicants that submit successful nominations will be invited to submit additional information for evaluation though a second evaluation round. A Nominator can visit https://corporate.lowes.com/nomination-form-2026 and enter the information requested on the nomination form.
