The snow is melting and signs of spring are right around the corner! As we turn the page to a new season, we are energized by the positivity and momentum building throughout our school.
We truly felt the love during February with our Heart Quest schoolwide gratitude challenge. Students worked with their Advisory classes to earn hearts by completing activities focused on gratitude and kindness. From writing thank-you notes to staff, to creating visual displays around the school highlighting what they are grateful for, our building was filled with positivity and connection. We are so proud of the way our teachers and students embraced this opportunity to lift each other up. Check out our Instagram @lutherjacksonms to see it all!
Beginning next week, we are launching our March “Beat the Bell” Tardy Competition! Classes can earn weekly Friday raffle entries for having no tardies during the week, and at the end of the month one class will win a grand prize- a No Tardy Pizza Party! This friendly competition is part of our continued focus on strong attendance habits.
Please continue to emphasize with your children the importance of arriving to class on time and being present and prepared throughout the school day. Your partnership makes a tremendous difference.
