With just 3.5 months to go until Defqon.1, the time has come to enter the next chapter of this year’s edition with the return of the RED Race and The Release.

The first episode of the RED Race airs today at 17:00 CET, while The Release will air on March 26th at 20:00 CET. As always, both the RED Race and The Release will be available on the Q-dance YouTube channel.

​In less than two weeks, it’s time for one of the most anticipated moments for every Warrior: Defqon.1 The Release. Together with Audiofreq, E-Life and Stephanie Magic, we will reveal the line-up and anthem of this year’s edition during a massive 1.5 hour online show that will take you across every corner of the Holy Grounds. From The Gathering to The Closing Ceremony, every musical pinnacle will be discussed and revealed, including the acts responsible for The Opening Ceremony and The Spotlight at both the RED and the BLACK.


Besides that, we will also share crucial information about your upcoming journey, including ticket news, travel and stay updates, the DEDIQATED Membership, The Path, and the return of the Defqon.1 Quiz.

The biggest talent show within the harder styles returns with a brand new season. Four new acts are ready to fight for their chance at immortality: Antergy, Beat Conductors, , Essive and Testarossa. Guided by legendary coaches who earned their stripes on the mainstage, they will battle for the ultimate goal: a spot on the mighty RED on the Friday of Defqon.1.

In the first episode, we get to know the new contestants, as well as two new RED Race coaches: Adaro and Frontliner. They join last season’s coaches Phuture Noize and The Purge on their mission to guide these talents towards their destiny.
