The Planning Commission public hearing for Comprehensive Plan amendment 2025-CW-T1 (Active Fairfax Transportation Plan Study) was held on March 11, 2026, and a decision was made on March 18, 2026. Comprehensive Plan Amendment #2025-CW-T1 would incorporate a new Active Transportation and Trails Plan Map into the Comprehensive Plan, as well as associated edits to the Countywide Policy Plan to align technical terms, definitions, and facility specifications, and minor edits to the Area Plans volumes of the Comprehensive Plan to update references and ensure consistency.
