Principal’s Hour

This is an excellent way our families can stay connected to the work of Stratford Landing. You'll get to hear from me on a variety of important topics, and you'll also have plenty of time for your questions and discussion. This is a great opportunity to stay informed, engaged, and connected with what's happening at our school.

At these upcoming meetings, we will reflect on our current school year and preview our upcoming school year. You will be able to offer feedback regarding this school year and ask questions as it relates to next school year. There is so much to celebrate this year. I also want to ensure a forum for our families to provide feedback so we may continue to strengthen and improve our work here at Stratford Landing.

Our two remaining Principal’s Hour Meetings:

Monday, April 13, 6:30 – 7:30 pm; Use this link to join. No need to RSVP.

Monday, May 18, 6:30 – 7:30 pm; Use this link to join. No need to RSVP.

Share Your Feedback – Principal Evaluation Parent/Guardian Survey

On Monday, April 6, you will receive an email with a link to the FCPS Principal Evaluation Parent/Guardian Feedback Form. This questionnaire is part of the Performance Evaluation Program and provides an opportunity for you to share anonymous feedback on key aspects of our school, including:

  • Instructional leadership
  • School climate
  • Management (human resources and organizational)
  • Communication and community relations
  • Culturally responsive and equitable leadership
  • Professionalism

The questionnaire will be open April 6 - April 19 and will be collected online. When you receive the email from noreply@fcps.edu, please take a few minutes to complete it. Your feedback is important and helps shape the future of our school. Thank you for your time and participation.

Month of the Military Child - Purple Spirt Shirts

Did you know military children move 6–9 times on average during their school years? That’s a lot of new homes, schools, and friends—which is why we celebrate their strength during the Month of the Military Child! This year’s theme is “Rooted in Resilience.” Purple spirit shirts are still available for purchase, and we invite all families to show their support for the military kids in our school. Students are encouraged to wear purple on Wednesdays in April. Orders close March 23. https://slpta.org/product/purple-up/
