Happy Thursday!

This week may have been short, but it was absolutely packed with excitement! Between a wild storm shifting our schedule and some mischievous leprechauns visiting our Kindergarteners, there was never a dull moment.

We also kicked off an incredible Boosterthon week! A huge thank you for your generosity. Because of your support, we’ll be able to fund upcoming field trips and continue beautifying our outdoor classrooms. We can’t wait to see everyone at the Fun Run this upcoming Tuesday!

Finally, please save the date for Saturday, April 11th, at 9:00 AM as we host our first annual Hero Hike at CES. We are coming together to honor our veterans, service members, and first responders with a meaningful trek around our CES campus. To symbolize the commitment of our heroes, participants are invited to carry a backpack filled with non-perishable food items. Following the hike, all collected goods will be donated to a local military food bank to support those who serve. If you would like to donate to this cause, click HERE. We hope to see you there!

Wednesday, March 25th: 3 hour early release - 1:00 dismissal: Child care option

Friday, March 27th: End of Quarter 3, 2 hour early release - 2:00 dismissal: No child care option 

Monday, March 30th - Friday, April 3rd: Spring Break: No School

Monday, April 6th: No School

Saturday, April 11th: Hero Hike: Back Field near Playground: 9:00 AM

Tuesday, April 21st: April Statewide Election: No School for Students

There will be no school for students on Tuesday, April 21, for the Virginia statewide election. Student activities, athletic practices, and events may proceed as scheduled.

Participate in our upcoming CES Fun Run!

Thank you for supporting our Centreville Fun Run fundraiser thus far! Every share and donation contributes to our field trip support and/or enhancing outdoor learning spaces, and we are currently over halfway to our $26,000 goal. If you haven’t signed up your student on MYBOOSTER.COM, it’s EASY & FREE to do this weekend.

If your student gets a donation this weekend, they will be part of the Weekend Challenge! When they get $2/ lap (which is $60 total in flat donations) or more in NEW pledges over the weekend, they’ll earn their regular rewards PLUS a bonus reward. Find out what it is on MyBooster.com!
