Art, music, creativity, and hands-on fun are coming back to Downtown Garland.
Art Made Here returns to the Downtown Garland Square on Saturday, March 28 from 2–8 PM for a free, family-friendly arts festival celebrating Garland’s creative spirit. Enjoy a lively afternoon filled with visual art, live performances, interactive experiences, and activities for all ages.
What You’ll Experience
Art Fair – Shop artwork and handmade goods from talented local artists
GISD Make & Take Crafts – Create your own art with Garland ISD Fine Arts
Live Music & Dance Showcases – Performances throughout the afternoon
Live Art Experiences – Watch chalk artists and the Out of the Box Dumpster Beautification mural project
Downtown Garland’s Tiny Hat Hunt – Follow clues to find hidden brass hats across downtown
Movie at the Plaza Theatre – The Mitchells vs. the Machines (2 PM showing)
Texas Film Round-Up – Bring old home movies for free digitizing from 4–8 PM
Families can also enjoy henna tattoos, silhouette portraits, food trucks, and plenty of opportunities to explore and create.
Admission is free, so bring the whole family and celebrate creativity in the heart of Garland.
