Volunteers Needed for Upcoming Event

Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary will be participating in an upcoming community event where we could use your assistance.

South Texas State Fair - Champions for Nature

Volunteers will assist Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary staff in manning an outreach booth to introduce the public to the sanctuary. This includes talking to people, giving out information, and helping participants with a tableside activity. Volunteers will help with setting up the booth. This is an indoor event.

Location: Doggett Ford Park 5115 I-10, Beaumont, TX 77705

Date: Saturday, March 28, 2026 and Sunday, March 29, 2026 

Volunteer shifts (both days):

11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. 2 volunteers needed

2:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m. 2 volunteers needed
