Tuesday, I showed a 16-month-old Twitter post to a workshop crowd that made them go absolutely bananas. Worth talking about here to set the scene. First, the post. Then, the lesson. Like I said. A big reaction from attendees. Maybe because we’re finally seeing the full truth of that prediction. Layoffs in waves. Companies bragging about record profits on Monday but then firing their people in a casual 10:30 email on Friday morning. Many of the people I know who still have jobs are shaking in their too-expensive loafers every day on the way to work just wondering when it’s going to happen When will I get that email? When will I be invited to a 1-1 meeting with the manager? When will someone replace me with AI? Nothing worse than feeling powerless. Watching your whole livelihood get taken away by some middle manager who never has to talk to you again after firing you. 1.17M Layoffs in 2025. Trend is continuing this year. The sad truth is: Many people know this threat, but do nothing anyways. They don’t go flight mode or fight mode. They just freeze. Panic. Lock up. Watch Netflix til their eyeballs water, hoping everything works out fine. They do this because the thought of learning new skills, finding a new job, or creating a business sounds too hard. “I don’t have time!” Trust me. It’s far easier to make the time while you’re busy. Better for you to be in control. Most people think they’ll have time if the layoff happens. In truth, panic sets in and they usually go through the same tired pattern. Desperation → Beg for Job → Settle → Repeat Now for a bit of good news. There is still a ton of exaggeration around the whole AI conversation. For example: I saw a tweet about how Gemini can now easily summarize inbox activity and connect it to other platforms. Which would be cool. Imagine a robot that could scrape through my entire email archive and tell me which single subject line or which single phrase was most likely to turn someone into a customer. The tech bois say that’s here now. In reality, Google Gemini says this: (Word for word) “Using the native filters in your Gmail is more accurate than my summary” In other words: The bois are cracked out. As usual. Still, though. It’s not all hype. Claude launched an update 3 days ago where you can now pull out your phone at a cafe and tell your computer at home to get to work on something. That’s real. That’s now. That’s just the beginning. It’s happening now. Jobs will continue to be eliminated. Existing businesses go downhill. Let this be a wake up call. You can’t ignore this stuff. All you can do is move fast enough to survive the wave. You can get help with that in Fearless Money Makers. Here’s what we help people do

You’ve got 5 days to book a call, or until we fill our 5 open spots. Whichever happens first. Talk soon, -Tim P.S. Booking a call does not “commit” you to anything. In fact, not everyone who books a call even gets invited to work with me. Has to be a good fit for both of us. |
