The No Kings march I attended today was amazing. I went live for the entire two hours as, along with thousands of others, we traveled down Seventh Ave, sometimes very slowly because the crowd was so big. We started at Central Park, passed Carnegie Hall and went through Times Square where there was a wonderful brass band. The signs were amazing; it was as positive as much as it was angry. Marchers were still coming down Seventh when I reached the end at 34th street. For all I know people, people may still be marching now at 6pm! It was a wonderful, joyous and inspiring gathering. Halfway through the video cut out. So I ended the broadcast and returned. Here is the second video. Thank you to everyone who joined me, we had 1000+ viewers!! It was wonderful to have you with me on this march, it meant a lot to me. We are in this together. And we will make the change, I know it. I will share photos and some poster photos from many of you tomorrow. Don’t forget to send me yours. Reda Rountree (she/her), Ken Firestone, Jean, Karen Careri, Elizabeth MacQueen, Michael Bailey, Laura Havranek, Josepha Gayer Beitch, ConnieW and many others for tuning into my live video!
