Staff Appreciation Week is Coming!

Unclouding the Truth: A Community Discussion about Vaping
Join the Fairfax County Council PTA for Unclouding the Truth: A Community Discussion about Vaping on Monday, April 13 at Jackson Middle School. This informative event will begin from 6:30–7:30 PM in the auditorium, followed by resources, refreshments, and a gift card drawing in the cafeteria from 7:30–8:30 PM.
Join community experts, students, and prevention specialists for an important conversation about the impact of vaping and nicotine use among youth. Learn how to recognize warning signs, understand current trends, and explore resources available through FCPS and Fairfax County. Attendees will also hear directly from students working to prevent vaping in their schools.
Don’t miss this opportunity to ask questions, gain valuable insights, and connect with local resources. Registration is required, and attendees will be eligible for the gift card drawing.

Track & Field season is almost here! Official practices begin Thursday, April 9 - be sure all required paperwork is completed to participate.
Want to warm up before the season starts? Join the Running Club during Block B of Night Hawk on Thursdays in March! No paperwork needed - just show up and get moving.

Our middle school after-school program remains an important part of student life, providing engaging activities and a safe place to connect after the school day. As future funding is being reviewed, strong participation and community support matter.
