Dear Families,
Welcome to Spring! We are excited for the warmer weather and have been so happy to see our students back this week ready to learn.
As we head into the last quarter of the school year, we wanted to remind families of our end of the year testing dates. If you can try to avoid appointments or trips during the time your child is testing, it would be greatly appreciated.
We are looking forward to enjoying the rest of the school year with the Mason Crest community.

Kindergarten Orientation
We are excited to welcome our incoming kindergarten families and students on Friday, April 10 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Families will get to experience "A Day in the Life of a Kindergartener" while receiving a tour of Mason Crest. We can't wait to meet all our newest tigers!

Early Release Wednesday Update and April 21st
Tuesday, April 21, is now a teacher workday and staff development day because of a recently announced special election that will impact all FCPS schools.
Students will now have a traditional full day of instruction and be released at the regular dismissal time on April 22 which was previously an early release Wednesday.
This adjustment allows our staff to still have dedicated time for planning, collaboration, and professional learning without reducing instructional time on other school days.

Actualización sobre los Miércoles de Salida Temprana en abril
El martes 21 de abril, es ahora un día de trabajo para los maestros y de desarrollo para el personal por causa de las elecciones especiales recientemente anunciadas, que impactarán a todas las escuelas de FCPS.
Los estudiantes tendrán ahora un día completo de instrucción y saldrán a la hora regular de salida, tanto el 22.
Estos ajustes les permiten a nuestro personal tener todavía tiempo para dedicarlo a la planeación, colaboración e instrucción profesional, sin tener que reducir el tiempo de enseñanza durante otros días de clases.
