Guard and Reserve Service Members: Know Your Rights!
USERRA plays a vital role in protecting the employment rights of our veterans and service members.
USERRA ensures that when you are called to serve, your civilian job and benefits remain secure, allowing you to focus on your duties without worry. When you return home, USERRA guarantees your right to step back into your position seamlessly.
|
Know your USERRA rights:
- USERRA means you can't be penalized for serving.
- Your civilian job must be protected while you're on duty.
- You have the right to be reemployed in your civilian job after military service.
We’re here to support you. If you believe your employment rights have been violated, file a complaint with VETS online or by submitting a signed complaint form. Representatives are available in every state (as well as Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands) ready to assist with USERRA issues.
