Kids have a way of humbling you.

At first, I hated it.
(Of course, I would never tell HER that.)
But later…I realized something:
This photo is a gift.
It’s a snapshot of what my life actually looks like most days.
Peaceful.
Quiet.
Cozy.
iza, you see me on social media a lot and I usually look like this:

But that’s not really what I usually look like AT ALL.
Maybe 2% of the time, I look like that.
The other 98% of the time I look like the couch potato I am.
Because I have a passive income business, I usually just hang out in sweatpants, playing with Ellie.
We read books.
We go to the beach.
We just chill.
All the more grateful because I’m a SINGLE stay-at-home mama.
That’s like being an actual unicorn.
So yes, I actually love this photo now.
It’s what my life really looks like.
And I actually don’t have a lot of candid photos like that.
