Alaska Senate proposes more capital spending as House passes operating budget → |

The increase in capital spending is in conflict with spending that lawmakers in the House had built into their version of the operating budget, which passed narrowly in a 21-19 vote along caucus lines. That vote concluded several days of contentious debates on the size of the Permanent Fund dividend and other items in the bill. |
