Effective May 15, 2026 - All Payments Received by DCMWC Will Be Processed Electronically

The Division of Coal Mine Workers’ Compensation (DCMWC) is changing the way accounts receivables will be processed. On March 25, 2025, President Donald J. Trump signed Executive Order 14247, Modernizing Payments to and from America’s Bank Account, which directs federal agencies to issue and receive payments electronically.

Effective May 15, 2026, all payments must be submitted electronically. Additionally, if DCMWC owes any money to you or other stakeholders, we will issue those payments electronically.

Instructions to submit your payment are provided in the link below.

All DCMWC debtors must submit any refunds or overpayments electronically using the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Pay.gov forms. If necessary, DCMWC can also provide additional electronic payment options, including ACH Credit Gateway or Fedwire. To seek information about these options, email the DCMWC Fiscal Team at DCMWCBAATeam@dol.gov for the appropriate instructions.

If you have any questions regarding DCMWC’s transition to electronic payments, you may email DCMWC’s Fiscal Office at DCMWCBAATeam@dol.gov or call our main line at (800) 347-2502.
