Last year, Marie-Thérèse Ross-Mahé moved to the United States for love, marrying a man she had met decades earlier on a U.S. military base. Her husband died in January, and now, Ross-Mahé, 85, is being held in a detention center, a month after immigration agents arrested her at her late husband’s home.
