| I don’t know if this is the case for everyone, but the texture of my food is extremely important to me. I refuse to eat ice cream that’s too “melty” or a smoothie that’s too thin, no matter how amazing the flavor is. That’s why recipes like today’s are ideal if you’re anything like me: a smoothie bowl is going to be thick enough to eat with a spoon, so there’s no risk of runniness. |

| Pineapple kale smoothie bowl with chia seeds and coconut |
| I used to work at a smoothie shop, and the pineapple kale smoothie was one of the best sellers. While it may not seem like a combination that makes sense at first glance, it definitely works! The pineapple's sweetness complements the kale, which is similar to spinach in a smoothie.
For a thicker consistency, try using frozen pineapple chunks. You could even use frozen kale and frozen banana slices. Coconut water is, well, water, so it will thin out the smoothie mixture.

| Pineapple is a nutritional powerhouse, providing significant amounts of copper, potassium, magnesium, iron, and vitamins C and B6. It may also have other benefits, such as improving digestion and immunity and reducing the risk of chronic diseases, including cancer. However, further research is needed to confirm this effect.
