How did 4 Hillsborough judges get elected despite no ballots?

Three Hillsborough County lawyers will be automatically elected to be judges and a sitting county judge will ascend to the circuit after all four qualified for the August election Friday without opposition. 

More than 25 other Tampa Bay judges also got automatically reelected.
