Happy National School Bus Driver Appreciation Day!

Bus appreciation

Today we recognize the dedicated individuals who safely transport our students to and from school each day. Our Crossfield ES bus drivers go above and beyond, showing care, patience, and professionalism while helping start and end each student’s day on a positive note.

We invite all families to join us in showing appreciation to your child’s bus driver this week. A simple thank you, a kind note, or a warm smile can go a long way in letting our drivers know how much they are valued.

Skyview High School Boundary Meetings

The next round of FCPS community meetings regarding the Skyview High School and Western Pyramids Boundary Study will be held tonight and Thursday night. At the meetings, staff will share initial draft scenarios and gather your feedback. You may attend in person at Skyview High School or virtually via Zoom. To register, please click “in person” or “virtual” based on your preference:

The same information will be shared at both meetings. Community feedback from those meetings will help inform the development of one or more revised scenarios.

Left Behind

left behind

Our lost and found is entering “mystery museum” status— jackets, sweatshirts, water bottles, lunch box, gloves, and a large bag of supplies! Now is a good time for a reunion tour. Please encourage your child(ren) to take a quick look and reclaim any longing to go home items. Feel free to sign-in to browse as well—no detective skills required.

At the end of the quarter all remaining items will be donated to The Closet in Herndon. Thanks for helping us get these items back where they belong.
