A second round of US-Iran peace talks was due to take place in Islamabad at the weekend, but Trump abruptly ordered his envoys not to attend.
A senior Ukrainian diplomatic source told Euronews that “if Israel responded to other requests via diplomatic channels, there would have been no need for tweets”, as Israeli FM Sa’ar lashed out at Kyiv over what he said was “Twitter diplomacy”.
The incident comes in the wake of a spate of arson attacks on synagogues and Jewish community sites in north London in recent weeks.
