Hello Wolftrap Families: As we observe Memorial Day, we invite you to help us honor loved ones who gave their lives in military service.
If your family has someone who died in action or during training, we would be honored to include them in a tribute during our morning news show. Please feel free to share their name and any details you’d like included.
Please send their name and photo to: Emmanouel@gmail.com.
Thank you for helping us remember and honor these heroes.
Mark your calendars! Wednesday, May 13 at 8:00 a.m. is the Spring Wolftrap Bike to School Day and we want to see EVERYONE rolling in!
Dust off those helmets, pump up those tires, and let's fill the streets with pedal power! It's a great way to get some fresh air, have fun with friends, and start the school day with a smile.
Wear your helmet
If you have lights or bright colors please wear them so our neighbors can see us coming
Arrive ready to RIDE, the train starts at Liberty Tree Ln and Beulah, but jump on anywhere along the route.
See you on the road — let's make May 13 the most fun commute of the year!
It's time for our final AIM (Artists in the Making) project of the year!! This time, our young artists (K - 5th) will be exploring the work of Fredrick Prescott through an exciting upcoming kinetic art project!
Inspired by Prescott’s creative designs, students will have the opportunity to experiment with movement and imagination as they bring their own dynamic pieces to life. We can’t wait to see what our students will create!
Don't worry, we haven't forgotten our Sixth graders! They will not be participating in this project because they’ll be focusing on a special AIM project which will be displayed during their promotion ceremony — stay tuned for more info in the upcoming weeks!
Emails will soon be sent out to the AIM Classroom leads with instructions and a link to the instructional video. Thank you again to all our volunteers - we couldn't do it without you!! If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, please contact us at aim@wolftrappta.org.
** Special Request for all Parents** We are in need of newspapers! If you have any old newspapers at home, please bring them (or send them in with you child) so we can use for future AIM projects! There will be a box outside of the main office to collect them. Thank you in advance!
We are thrilled to announce that several of our Wolftrap PTA's first-place winning submissions have received recognition at the Fairfax County level!:

-Abby Howsare - Award of Merit (Bronze) in Photography

We are incredibly proud of all our Wolftrap students who participated in Reflections this year! Thank you for your creativity and for making our school community shine!
We will be holding an awards ceremony for all participants on Thursday, June 4th at 7:00 p.m. in the Wolftrap Cafeteria. Come celebrate your artwork and enjoy some ice cream!
